The Start of Beautiful You...
Beautiful You started out as an Idea for a book and eventually became so much more! The summer before my freshman year I came back from summer camp with a relationship with the Lord and a heart ready to serve him. Until then I never truly realized how much he loved me and how much I needed him in my life. And I didn't just need him on Sundays or during camp, but I needed him in every aspect of my life. Once I realized that and let him move in my life he started doing things that I never thought he could do through me. He started using me to help other people! And that's when Beautiful You was created. After summer camp that year I was in my bedroom listening to worship music on Pandora when all of a sudden a new song by Britt Nicole came on called "Gold". The song talked about how beautiful and valuable you are. And I can't help but think that when Britt Nicole was singing this song that she was singing about how God sees you, as his beautiful precious daughter. Another song came on later called "More Beautiful You" by Jonny Diaz. This song talked about all of the things that girls do just to feel beautiful and how they don't realize how beautiful they already are. I then started just worshiping the Lord and praising him for all that he has done for me and how loved and special he makes me feel so that I don't have to feel that I'm unloved or ugly. But then it hit me. I know that God loves me and made me beautiful, but so many other girls don't know that. I all of a sudden felt compassion for them and had the urge to do something about it. Then God gave me the idea of "Beautiful You" which is now a growing ministry. I am so thankful that the Lord has chosen me to help young girls to discover their worth in Christ Jesus and learn how to see themselves, and others, through God's eyes.
My Mission
My mission is to encourage middle school and high school girls in their walk with the Lord as they discover who they are in Christ, true beauty, living a Christ-centered life, and so much more. My hope is that the young women reading this blog discover that God isn't just some big powerful person sitting up in the clouds waiting to zap them with a lightning bolt, but is a loving God who sent his only son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that they may live in heaven with him one day. God wants to be a part of your life as your best friend, your father, your king, your provider, and your savior. He wants to hang out with you, he wants to encourage you, he wants to be a part of your life. I hope that young women will come to realize this and build an amazing relationship with the Lord that will last forever.

Hi, my name is Olivia! I created this website to encourage young girls to pursue a lasting relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. And that is what I want for you and for myself. I grew up in a Christian home with parents that love the Lord and raised me and my siblings to love the Lord too. But it wasn't until the summer right before my freshmen year that I truly allowed God to move in my life. And once I let him, amazing things started to happen! I realized that my love for young girls and for helping them and encouraging them was God given. He started to use me to help my friends get to know the Lord and at the same time he helped me to grow closer to him as well! I hope that this website encourages you to draw closer to the Lord too.
